My son describes me as: Culture Warrior; Dinner Hour Pundit; Mama/ Grandma Grizzly.

Recently I moved to South Carolina and it is the first time I have lived in the south. It is beautiful here and we are ten minutes to the ocean.

First and foremost, I am a teacher! I am a licensed NYS Educator with experience in career counseling, teaching English, and Public Relations. For 22 years, I have been educating people on how to resolve their issues. In short, I am a problem solver.

I hold Certification as a Co-Occurring Disorders Professional (CCDP) and also as a L-Credentialed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (L-CADC). Both certifications are under the jurisdiction of the IC&RC. (The International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium). This allows me to work in every state in the US that shares reciprocity, plus some foreign countries. I also hold a Credential in Bereavement Counseling and have a Certificate in Anger Management.

You will find that I am responsive to your text messages and emails and will try an accommodate a need for a consultation on short notice.
